The D. Juan of the supermarket (Market study)

The D. Juan of the supermarket (Market study)
Video 4 min., DVD, 2004
a videoinstallation by Tiny Domingos with Jo Stone and Olivier Perrier
Encounters and dis-encounters in a supermarket of emotions.
A furtive exchange of eye contact beneath cold neon light,
somewhere between the shelves of yogurt and kleenex. The question of
masculinity and the poetry of failure. Inspired by the title of a song
by Jacques Dutronc: “Le dragueur des supermarchés” (1973).
Fadomaso

Fadomaso, video, 8 min, DVD, 2007
Fado and sado-masochism. Delight of pain and complain. The weight of destiny.
Alles Palletti

Installation, Berlin, 2004
oil painting on wood, various dimensions
Based on the curious german expression meaning “everything is all right” and “ready”. The origin of this expression is unknown. It sounds italian but it isn’t. It could be the result of simplified comunication between foreign and german workers. In German (and French) the word “Palette” has many meanings and is used in industry and also when speaking of painting. A new Alchimy between “High” and “Low”.
